Yellowstone National Park

So, the word's out that we're going to Yellowstone National Park for the staff weekend trip, according to our Funky Friday listeners (more info here)!
I can't bloody wait! All that camping, I love camping! I'm a very camp kind of person. And then there's the fishing, the trekking, the birdwatching, the bearwatching, the bisonwatching, the beewatching.... I'll watch anything that begins with a 'b'.
But really, it's a very beautiful, freethinking place, at least that's what I read in the National Geographic in my dentist's waiting room. Apparently there's lots of geysers, and volcanic activity there. What with all that fresh air, everyone is bound to be a little randy, so I wonder which one of us will be the first to whisper 'Did the earth move for you'???
Does anyone have any ideas on possible activities we could do?
I have a few for starters:
Picnic basket stealing
Canoeing
Paintballing
Car ramming with elks (my favourite)

We should DEFINITELY have a picnic. I can bring pasta salad, a Whiz (http://www.whizproducts.co.uk/en/), and a Frisbee. Promise me Icarus' mother isn't going to be there, though!

I had the opportunity to visit the Yellowstone park. It's really wonderful ! I just have a question : which season is it there now ? I'm afraid that if it is for now, February, the snow must make the mountains more beautiful, but so cold !
And to do camping in such a frozen weather must be ... terrible ! Anyway I wish you a pleasant stay in Yellowstone !

I visited Yellowstone 5 times . When I love ...It was a very breathtaking and wonderful place but until June the table for picnic are recovered by lot of snow and you can find them.
Wait May , the weather is not bad ,the snow is still here but some fields are free of snow with new grass and bears and their cubs like that . So you can see them especially near Gardiner entrance.
Have a very nice trip .

I live in Québec, Canada, and I say that a picnic in February is wonderful. Snow is everywhere, yes, but sunshine is too. February is the month where the sun is the hottest in the year. It is also the season of love for birds. They are working at their nests and you can observe the males flying around in their brightest colors, singing brightly in search of a female; and, because the leaves are not grown yet, your can watch at them without any obstructions.
Furthermore, the bears are getting off their winter sleep to look for food. It is the best time, and the best place, to be eaten by a bear. Especially if you are young and tender, making no noise walking in the woods, looking for birds, listening to your favourite classic British rock through a discreet MP3.
Yes we can! said the bear!
