Funny ha ha

I'm exhausted....
Just spent 3 hours with Philip trying to make that alien laugh. The minute he starts giggling (not even at one of our jokes!) he goes and dies on us... what is the world coming to?

Now it's YOUR turn to make US laugh, you've heard the jokes that we told, can you do better?
Tell us some jokes that you think are funny.

Here's one I forgot to tell Todd the alien - it's a bit English and absurd, but perhaps if he'd have heard it, he wouldn't have died laughing:

Picture the scene: in the middle of the jungle, there's no breeze. The sun is shining and the sky is a deep blue. No sound. Nothing. Two hippos are lying on their backs in a lake. One hippo whispers to the other: 'I don’t know why, but I keep thinking today's Monday.

Oh yeah, and if you didn't get Philip's blonde joke- 'tax' sounds a lot like 'tacks'. A 'tack' is a little nail - you might use them to attach a map to a wall (or a wig to a head). Get it?!?

So come on, let's hear your jokes!

Swine flu: it's a panicdemic!

I can't believe nobody's posted anything on swine flu yet: what's wrong with you people?!

I have been personally affected by the swine flu pandemic. Three of my acquaintances (someone I was at school with in Stoke; a friend of a friend in Leeds; and a friend's sister's fiancé in London) have been struck by this most terrifying virus. I'm trying to stay strong though, despite the obvious trauma.

The UK is doing very well in the league table of countries affected by swine flu. You can keep an eye on your own country's progress here.

So, do you have any personal stories to share? Are you washing your hands as obsessively as I am? Do you change carriages when someone near you on a tram/train/bus/metro sneezes? Or am I blowing things totally out of proportion?

The Current Events Club is born!

Hey there current event enthusiasts!

It's Jones, Brian Jones here, chair of the new Delavigne Corp Current Events Club!

This time we're going to get topical on you... Perhaps you've heard members of the Delavigne Corporation hold a mass debate about the new internet laws, or perhaps you're just passing through our blog, but this is where we want to hear your views on current events!

So then, what do you think of the internet anti-piracy laws? Are they a good thing? Are they stupid? Will they threaten our liberties? Will they stop us from sailing the seven seas, stealing treasure and holding fair maidens to ransom?

Let's hear your views, people. Don't delay, post today!

Folding paper!

Have been busy this morning trying to fold a piece of paper more than 12 times! Icarus tells me it can't be done, that it's mathematically impossible or something, but I disagree. I am a master of manipulating paper and I will succeed!

To find out more, click on this link:

There's a great Australian accent with a transcript!

How many times can you fold a piece of paper?

Let me know!

I hope you're more successful than my first effort! --------------------------------->
