Blind date

When I were a lass, my favourite tv programme was 'Blind Date'. This hilarious game show, hosted by the beautiful Cilla Black (a fellow redhead), allowed young, single, witty, and attractive people to meet their perfect partner. I'm not sure how many of the couples actually got married, but I'm sure that the vast majority of them are living happily ever after with someone they didn't meet on the programme.

My boss, Bruno Delavigne, has just been on a blind date of his own, which some of us were lucky enough to listen in on. What did you think? Is it love at first sight between Betty and Bruno, or are they blind to each other's charms?

And have you ever been on a blind date? I went on one once, but it wasn't as good as my favourite tv programme made out: no canned laughter when I told jokes, no all-expenses-paid trip to Lanzarote, and no Cilla Black.

I don't know if it's love at first sight between Betty and Bruno, but that sounds like that...
Unlike Betty who remains in control of one's emotions - apart from the fact that she finds him rather "cute" with his nervousness, it's seems to be the case of Bruno. He seems to be less self-confident than usually, a little bit intimidated in front of Betty. Maybe her blindness took him aback. I don't know. But in any case, he seems to be impressed by her. (I can understand him: I don't know what she looks like, but personally, I adore Betty's voice.) To be continued...

I suppose I had a blind date once. A friend arranged for me to meet with his flat mate, Carol. We were supposed to meet in a coffee shop. The only thing is, Carol never turned up. Apparently, she saw me through the window and had second thoughts. Therefore, I didn't see Carol BEFORE the date, and I didn't see Carol DURING the date - it truly was a BLIND DATE, ha ha! Fortunately, the story does have a happy ending. I do see Carol after the date because I sometimes follow her home after work. Now, Carol is the blind one - she has absolutely no idea that I am watching her from behind the tree in her front yard!

Edward, do you realise that following women home from work is a bad thing to do?

Anonymous, I'm not sure if Bruno took Stink on the date with him. If not, we really should organise a play date between him and Betty's dog! I'm sure they'd greatly enjoy sniffing each other's bottoms.

Yes, I know I did a bad thing. Carol phoned the police. I tried to explain that I was on a blind date, but they didn't believe me. I think I misunderstood the whole concept of the 'blind date'. No more following women! By the way, who was that guy you were having dinner with in that vegan restaurant, last night?

Edward, you saddo. I thought you were supposed to be going to a Thanksgiving dinner with your friend, not sneaking around spying on your colleagues.

Have you finished my photocopying yet?

This romance would be strange and funny and full of different feelings: love, sympathy, curiosity. I am looking forward to reading what happens next.

Why are the dogs making you nervous, Séraphine? There's nothing like puppy love to warm the cockles on a cold December evening...

We are in fact 'rescheduling' Funky Friday this month! There will be a CHRISTMAS SPECIAL on December 25th, and then we'll be back with Bruno and Betty's romance at the end of January!

Do you have any ideas for what you'd like Bruno and Betty to do next? We'd love to hear them!

hi! usualy I prefer to see lovers in the office. But it's a bit upset that betty isn't the delavigne employee. And it is not easy to bring a pet in the office like delavign corp. So I want to have the two in the room near the bed. I'd like to know a little best about US flirts, and what about the way US lovers used to show the christmas gifts
